SUE DRUMMOND

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

About

Clinical Psychologist in both South Africa and the UK

Sue Drummond has worked as a clinical psychologist for the NHS in the UK

I currently have a long-standing private practice in Cape Town,
South Africa from which I offer both in-person and online therapy,
depending on your preference and geographical location.

Therapeutic Approach

I offer individual psychotherapy in-person or online for adults and adolescents. I am licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in both South Africa and the UK. I welcome local and international clients

Clients are welcomed into a warm, empathic space. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic. Together, the client and I embark on a journey of unpacking and making meaning of the issues the client needs to explore. We seek to build understanding and resilience. The work is collaborative and, ultimately, infused with hope

I believe my extensive previous work experience in other employment sectors – both in Information Technology as a software developer and in Education as a secondary school teacher – gives me an invaluable insight into the wider world of work which enriches my therapeutic work now
